About

Originally hailing from Dresden in Germany, I moved to Scotland in 2017 to pursue a Psychology degree. I graduated from the University of Glasgow with a MA in Psychology with a Specialism in Neuroscience (First Class) in 2021, and a MSc in Psychological Research (Distinction) from the University of Edinburgh in 2022. Since 2022, I have been a PhD student in Social Robotics at the UKRI Centre For Doctoral Training in Socially Intelligent Artificial Agents (Social AI CDT), based at the University of Glasgow.
My research interests lie in drawing on psychological theory to examine how we use and integrate novel technologies into everyday life. For this I use a variety of interdisciplinary and mixed-methods approaches. I am also interested in robust, open, and well-considered research practices within psychology.
Outside of academia, I am an avid reader, film fan (the older the better), beginner figurer skater, and enjoy drawing and painting.
